In Tiamaranta, Protectress Oriata tasked you with travelling back into the past so you would understand that Id has existed since the beginning of time. After travelling back in time by activating the Hourglass of Space and Time given to you by Oriata, you witnessed Tiamat's End. You examined Tiamat's Body and found an Id Crystal. Oriata of the Past explained to you that such traces of Id could be found where Siel's Relic had unleashed violent forces. Then she sent you to another moment in the past. You witnessed the destruction of Israphel and Siel's Relic. You discovered a concentrated Id Crystal at the spot where Israphel and Siel's Relic had vanished. Oriata of the Past again emphasised that the power of the Id has connected and influenced all powers from the beginning of time through to the present.
