When you were near the fortress you came across the Archon corpses from the battles between Elyos and Beritra soldiers. You took their insignia and brought them to Bard so that their kinsmen could be informed. Upon seeing the insignia, Bard said that Katalam must be conquered quickly. Supreme Commander Bard said that the bases must be captured first in order to conquer Katalam, and ordered you to go to Centurion Bilveo. Bilveo said that the nearby base required assistance and that you should meet Abus. You met Abus and killed Elyos. Abus said that another base required assistance and that you should attack immediately on sight of the base.
