I'm aiming to open the doors in Q4 2026. Not a launch, not a finished product, a real beta, where you help me find everything that's still broken before this becomes the server it's meant to be.
The target: Q4 2026
I'll be upfront about what this is: a target, not a promise carved in stone. I'm working toward opening the beta in the last few months of 2026. If something isn't ready, I'm not going to force it out the door just to hit a date — you've seen enough servers do that. But Q4 is what I'm building toward, and I wanted you to have it on your calendar.
What a beta actually means here
A beta is not a soft launch with a different name. It means the server is playable end to end, but it is going to have bugs, and finding them is the entire point. You logging in, playing, and telling me what broke is worth more than any amount of testing I can do alone. This whole project has been mostly one person for a long time — the beta is where it stops being just my eyes on it.
So expect rough edges. Expect things to change. Expect the occasional restart. That is what a beta is for, and going in with the right expectations is what makes it actually useful.
You'll have the tools to test properly
To actually stress-test the game, you need to be able to reach any part of it fast — so testers get access to a GM window. You'll be able to set your level, hand yourself items, skills, and quests, and jump straight to wherever you need to be with teleport commands. No grinding for hours just to reach the content you want to check.
The point is to let you poke at everything — every dungeon, every bracket, every system — without the normal progression getting in the way. Break it on purpose. That's exactly what I need.
What I want from you
Play the content. Push on it. When something doesn't behave the way you remember, or the way it should, tell me — a quest that won't advance, a mob doing something strange, a dungeon mechanic that feels off, a number that looks wrong. Small reports add up fast, and the people who show up during beta are the ones who genuinely shape what launch looks like.
Reports go in the report channels on the Discord — that's where bug reports and feedback should land so nothing gets lost in general chat. That's also where the back-and-forth about how things should work will happen. If you want to be part of getting this right, that's the room to be in.
A beta only works if people actually show up and break things. That's not a disclaimer — it's the whole plan.
Progress will be wiped at release
Let me be clear about this up front so nobody's surprised: beta characters will be wiped when the server goes live. That's not a maybe. The whole point of a beta is to test systems that are still changing, so everyone starts fresh at release, on equal footing.
So come into the beta to play and to help, not to grind a head start — there isn't one. What you take away from it is the experience, and the fact that you helped build the thing.
That's the plan
Years of work have gone into getting the game to a place where handing it to real players even makes sense. Q4 2026 is when I want to do exactly that. It won't be perfect — that's not what a beta is — but it'll be real, and it'll be ours to shape together.
If that sounds like something you want to be part of, I'll see you there. More soon.
Come hang out
The Discord is where all of this actually happens.
