When you went looking for Fafner, he asked you to destroy the Balaur's Bloodfury Booster which the Balaur used just before entering the field. You destroyed the Bloodfury Booster with the unsettling stone that you received from Fafner and then you defeated the weakened Supervisor Nyvedija.
