He had spoken to a lady by the sea who suddenly transformed into a monster and attacked him. You met the woman by the sea and spoke to her. She said she didn't know what had happened and asked you to come back after sunset. You returned to the Sea of Life after sunset and met a ghost. You defeated the ghost and then the spirit of the woman appeared, who told you that the ghost had stolen her soul. She couldn't quite remember it, but she thought she might have hidden something under the Spirit Tree. You discovered her old diary under the tree. You then returned to Shaelshin and told him everything. He felt pity for the woman and thanked you for fixing the problem.
