He sent you to Reshanta to extract Abyss Essence. Once you extracted the Abyss Essence, you returned to Ashman who then crafted the Daevanion Trousers Prototype for you. He then sent you to Skuldun so he could perform the ceremony. When you took the Daevanion Trousers Prototype to Skuldun, he performed the ceremony and completed the Daevanion Trousers.
