Kistig wanted to reclaim his laboratory from the spirits that attacked and occupied it. He asked you to face down the Mud Spirits and Rock Spirits. When you came back after defeating the spirits, he asked about his laboratory. You had to tell him that it was destroyed. Although shocked and discouraged, he vowed that he would resume his research.
