Aegir said that a report from the Observatory stated that the Mist Mane Mau had opened the Abyss Gate. Aegir gave you the key, which you had taken from the Visionmaster, and asked you to go to the Mist Mane Village and close the Abyss Gate. But before you did so, you met Taisan. He gave you a dried Elim Root to boost your defences. You then passed through the Abyss Gate and met Kargate, a prophet from the Silvermane Tribe. Kargate informed you that he intended to close the gate so the Balaurs' weapon would not get through. The gate must be destroyed to prevent this from happening once and for all. So you killed the attacking Draconutes and Nagas while Kargate used magic to destroy the gate. When you told Aegir that the gate had been destroyed, he was delighted and said he would pass the news on to Pandaemonium right away.
